Next Week
Next week we will begin to develop the web sites that have been assigned. To prepare:
1. Create a storyboard for your web site. It should contain at least 8 pages, links to your blog and the class blog or blogs, links between your pages, pictures and text. But don't worry about that for the moment. Just create a draft of your storyboard for your blog.
2. In addition, post to your blog and comment on other blogs.
3. Think about how you could use blogs the students that you will eventually teach. I am going to create a class blog and you will participate in a conversation (or blog) about how to use blogs for educational purposes. We are inventing the future when we do this!

Remember to Refresh After You Create a New Post
One of the things new bloggers most often panic about is that they create a new post, publish it, and then click to view their blog. BUT the new post doesn't appear! That is because your computer is using the cached (or stored) version of your blog since your computer doesn't know you have added to your blog. Just click the refresh button on your browser and the computer will find the latest version of your blog and your worries will disappear! And you will see your latest post!
More Information on How To Improve Your Blog
Look at the Training Program for Bishop State Community College that Jeanine Griffin and I are doing. That blog contains much useful information for you as you develop your blog.
